The Macedon Center Ladies Auxiliary was formed in 1946 by nineteen Charter Members. The auxiliary was formed to assist the firemen with fire calls and to help with money to purchase equipment. In the beginning, meetings were held in ladies’ homes until the fire hall was built.
We are a very active organization that works fundraisers throughout the year assisting the firemen. We hold our annual chicken barbeque in April as well as assist with the Macedon Center Community Lumberjack Festival in September.
The auxiliary holds their monthly business meetings the first Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm, excluding June and July.
