Welcome to Macedon Center Volunteer Firemen's Association Inc.

Founded in 1942, the Macedon Center Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization that is located in the town of Macedon, Wayne County, New York.

About Us

We offer fire and rescue services to those residents who live within the Macedon Center fire protection district as well as the Macedon fire protection district and mutual aid to neighboring departments in the towns of Macedon and Walworth or any other fire department who asks for us.

We currently have 25 active members in the department, and our fire hall is located at 2481 Canandaigua Road.

We own ten pieces of apparatus: E-11 a 2010 Pumper, E-59 a 2000 Pumper, R-39 a 1995 Rescue, BR-44 a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500 Brush Truck, M-29 a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Fire Police Vehicle, M-31 a 2006 Fire Police Vehicle, UTV – 2018 Polaris Ranger and 3 Chiefs vehicles: Car 9-1 a 2021 Chevy Tahoe, Car 9-2 a 2021 Chevy Tahoe, Car 9-3 a 2015 Chevy Tahoe.

The Macedon Center Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for new, dedicated individuals to join its ranks.

No matter your experience level, if you have an interest in serving your community and have a strong desire to help others in their time of need, then MCFD is the place for you!
