We offer fire and rescue services to those residents who live within the Macedon Center fire protection district as well as the Macedon fire protection district and mutual aid to neighboring departments in the towns of Macedon and Walworth or any other fire department who asks for us.

We own ten pieces of apparatus: E-11 a 2010 Pumper, E-59 a 2000 Pumper, R-39 a 1995 Rescue, BR-44 a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500 Brush Truck, M-29 a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Fire Police Vehicle, M-31 a 2006 Fire Police Vehicle, UTV – 2018 Polaris Ranger and 3 Chiefs vehicles: Car 9-1 a 2021 Chevy Tahoe, Car 9-2 a 2021 Chevy Tahoe, Car 9-3 a 2015 Chevy Tahoe.

We respond to approximately 330 fire calls per year. We hold drills on Monday evenings throughout the year. We hold our monthly business meetings on the first Thursday of each month. We participate in local Firemen’s parades and events around the area in the summer and a couple in the winter. We have a team that participates in the Wayne County Firemen’s Softball League where games are held every Wednesday throughout the summer with a final tournament in August.
